Can someone please tell the Congress and the POTUS to STFU about the economy already? All they are doing by cock-teasing Wall Street with all this "bailout" talk is fucking the market over worse than it already was. I give you EXHIBIT A. For once I actually believe the administration's standard policy of ignoring problems, at least publically, is actually the way to go on this one. Let's face it, most douchebags in this Country we're already scared to invest their money, now you have Dubya and his partners in crime on T.V. every day talking about how F'd we all are? OF COURSE THE MARKET IS GOING TO CRASH. Is there no way for Congress to act in a more low-key way? Do we need 1000 press conferences a day to remind everyone that we are way up shit creek without a paddle? Maybe if we just let the market sort this out on it's own we'd be better off than having our Government officials fan the flames every few days? Can everyone just stop being so naive already and stop making long-term financial decisions based on how they feel about the market that particular day? What's next? A color designation for how well the market is doing? So the White House can issue an "orange" economic alert every once in a while just to scare the shit out of us, say, right before an election cycle?
